Jelvis Foundation Empowers Effiakuma Youth With Major Sanitation Support
The Jelvis Foundation has once again demonstrated its deep commitment to community development and environmental responsibility by donating a wide range of sanitation equipment to the Effiakuma Youth Association ahead of the upcoming Sanitation Day.

This initiative, led by the Team Lead and Founder, Mr. Jelvis Kwame Baidoo, reinforces the foundation’s mission to support sustainable community-led development and promote healthier living conditions for all residents.
The donation, which took place in the heart of the Effiakuma community, featured a comprehensive collection of sanitation tools designed to empower the youth to take charge of their environment. Items presented included wheelbarrows, long and short brooms, shovels, hand pans, spades, gloves, wellington boots, and several other essential cleaning materials. These tools will equip the youth to carry out efficient, safe, and thorough clean-up exercises across the community.
According to representatives of the foundation, this gesture aligns perfectly with Mr. Jelvis Kwame Baidoo’s vision of creating a more responsible, united, and proactive community. The foundation believes that empowering young people with the right resources will not only improve sanitation standards but will also instill a sense of civic duty and community ownership.
The Effiakuma Youth Association expressed profound appreciation for the timely support. They highlighted that community clean-up exercises have often been challenged by a lack of proper equipment, which slows down progress and limits the impact of their efforts. With this new support from the Jelvis Foundation, the youth are now better positioned to undertake larger, more effective cleaning operations across various zones in the community.
The donation is also part of the foundation’s broader mission to improve quality of life in Effiakuma through a combination of technology, education, social support, and environmental initiatives. From the widely acclaimed Free2Connect WiFi Project, which has transformed digital access in the community, to health screenings, youth empowerment programs, and now sanitation support, the foundation has consistently shown that development must be holistic to be sustainable.
Mr. Jelvis Kwame Baidoo believes that a clean environment is essential for community growth. A healthy ecosystem enhances productivity, reduces disease outbreaks, and creates a more appealing and dignified environment for residents. He emphasizes that sanitation is not just a government responsibility; it is a shared duty for every individual who calls Effiakuma home.

As Sanitation Day approaches, the Effiakuma Youth Association is poised to embark on a massive clean-up exercise, now strengthened by the Jelvis Foundation’s generous support. Residents are also encouraged to join these efforts and contribute to maintaining cleaner surroundings.
This initiative stands as yet another demonstration of the Jelvis Foundation’s long-term commitment to uplifting Effiakuma and supporting its people through meaningful, practical, and far-reaching development programs. With continued dedication and collaboration, the foundation hopes to inspire even more community-driven change.
