Jelvis Foundation Supports Funeral of the Late Mr. John Kwame Akpah Amegatse
The Jelvis Foundation, under the leadership of its Founder and Team Lead, Mr. Jelvis Kingshow Baidoo, has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to community care and support. On behalf of the Foundation, a donation was made to support the funeral rites of the late Mr. John Kwame Akpah Amegatse, affectionately known as Uncle John or Wofa Negah, whose funeral was held at Effia Kuma U2 Compound.

Mr. Amegatse, who passed away at the age of 75, was a respected elder whose life and service left an enduring mark on his family, friends, and the wider community. His dedication to unity, dignity, and family values resonated deeply with the very principles that the Jelvis Foundation stands for.
For the Jelvis Foundation, the act of giving goes beyond developmental projects such as free WiFi access, skills training programs, and health initiatives. At its heart, the Foundation believes in standing with families and communities during both moments of joy and times of grief.
The donation made in support of Mr. Amegatse’s funeral was not just a financial contribution but a symbol of solidarity, empathy, and shared humanity. By being present in such crucial moments, the Foundation emphasizes that building stronger communities also means offering comfort and assistance when they are most needed.
Speaking on the gesture, Mr. Jelvis Kingshow Baidoo reaffirmed the Foundation’s mission to extend care in all forms:
“Community development is not only about building infrastructure or launching projects. It is also about showing compassion, standing with families in their most difficult moments, and reminding them that they are not alone. That is the spirit of the Jelvis Foundation.”
As the family and loved ones of the late Mr. John Kwame Akpah Amegatse gathered to honor his memory, the support of the Jelvis Foundation stood as a reminder of the collective strength of Effia and its surrounding communities.
The Foundation remains committed to building on this spirit of unity — uplifting lives not just through opportunities but also through kindness and compassion.
May the soul of the late Mr. John Kwame Akpah Amegatse rest in perfect peace, and may his legacy continue to inspire generations to come.
