Jelvis Foundation Partners Effiakuma to the World for Sanitation and Free Health Screening
On Saturday, 13th December 2025, the Jelvis Foundation, in partnership with Effiakuma to the World, successfully organized a large-scale general cleaning exercise and free health screening for residents of the Effiakuma community.

The initiative formed part of activities marking National Sanitation Day and reflected the foundation’s continued commitment to improving health, hygiene, and overall well-being at the community level.
The day began with an intensive clean-up exercise across key areas of Effiakuma, as volunteers, youth groups, and members of the Jelvis Foundation team worked together to remove waste, clear choked areas, and improve the general outlook of the community. Armed with cleaning tools and a shared sense of responsibility, participants demonstrated that maintaining a clean environment is a collective duty essential to healthy living.
Beyond environmental sanitation, the event placed strong emphasis on preventive healthcare. Following the clean-up exercise, residents were offered free health screening services, allowing many community members to check vital health indicators and receive professional guidance. For several beneficiaries, this screening provided an opportunity to assess their health status, especially for those who may not regularly access medical services.
To further support the well-being of participants, the Jelvis Foundation provided free medications based on screening outcomes, ensuring that individuals received immediate care and relief where necessary. In addition, free bags of One King Mineral Water were distributed to participants, reinforcing the importance of hydration and healthy living during and after the exercise.
Speaking through the actions of the day, the Jelvis Foundation reiterated its belief that community development begins with health and a clean environment. By combining sanitation efforts with accessible healthcare, the foundation continues to deliver practical interventions that directly impact the daily lives of residents.
The collaboration with Effiakuma to the World also highlighted the power of partnerships in driving sustainable community initiatives. Together, both organizations demonstrated how unity, planning, and service can create meaningful change and inspire others to take responsibility for their environment and health.

Residents expressed appreciation for the initiative, describing it as timely, impactful, and a true reflection of leadership that prioritizes people’s needs. The success of the sanitation exercise and health screening has further strengthened the bond between the Jelvis Foundation and the Effiakuma community.
As the foundation continues its journey, initiatives like this reaffirm its mission to promote health, dignity, and development, ensuring that Effiakuma continues to move forward with pride and purpose.
