Jelvis Foundation Kicks Off Phase 2 with Free Health Screening in Effiakuma
The Jelvis Foundation, in partnership with One King Executive Fancy Club, is proud to announce a Free Health Screening for residents of Effiakuma and surrounding communities. The initiative, scheduled for Friday, 26th July 2025, at Effia Community Centre, aims to provide essential medical services while fostering community well-being and awareness.

With a start time of 8:30 AM sharp, the event will serve as a lifeline for many who lack regular access to healthcare services. Themed “Connecting Our Communities”, the outreach seeks to bridge the health gap by offering professional, no-cost medical screening services.
The Jelvis Foundation continues to stay true to its mission of empowering communities through targeted, practical initiatives. This upcoming health screening is not just a medical event—it’s a continuation of the Foundation’s broader mission of transforming lives, improving access to social resources, and promoting unity.

“Healthcare should never be a luxury,” says Mr. Jelvis Kwame Baidoo, Team Lead of Jelvis Foundation. “This initiative is a response to the growing concern about undiagnosed conditions in our communities. If we can detect issues early, we can save lives.”
The event, powered in collaboration with One King Executive Fancy Club, is expected to attract hundreds of participants from Effiakuma, Takoradi, and beyond.
Participants at the screening will have access to a range of free medical checks, including:
- Blood pressure screening
- Blood sugar testing
- BMI and weight checks
- General health consultations
- Basic medication and wellness advice
Professional nurses, volunteer doctors, and health technicians will be on-site to deliver high-quality care and referrals where needed.
Many residents in the Effiakuma area go years without regular checkups due to financial barriers or lack of nearby facilities. This event brings healthcare directly to the people—ensuring early detection of common conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity.
The Jelvis Foundation believes that preventive care is the first line of defense in building a healthier Ghana. By organizing community-driven wellness campaigns, the foundation is creating a culture of responsibility, awareness, and access.
The day will also feature health talks, nutritional education, and one-on-one Q&A sessions with health professionals. Attendees will receive free health advice, as well as guidance on maintaining better lifestyles post-screening.
For many young people and the elderly in Effiakuma, this may be the first professional health consultation they’ve had in years. The foundation hopes the event will not only promote health consciousness but inspire long-term habits of well-being in the community.
The Jelvis Foundation invites all residents, leaders, schools, and faith-based organizations in and around Effiakuma to spread the word and encourage participation. The event is open to all, regardless of age, income level, or medical history.

Attendees are advised to come early, as services will be rendered on a first-come, first-served basis. Safety measures and sanitary protocols will be strictly observed throughout the event.
The Free Health Screening in Effiakuma is just one of several impactful projects Jelvis Foundation is undertaking this year. From empowering artisans through the Made in Effiakuma initiative to bridging the digital divide with community WiFi projects, the foundation is proving that sustainable impact starts at the grassroots.
This health screening event is a Phase 2 milestone in the Foundation’s broader mission to connect and uplift Effiakuma. It’s more than a medical campaign—it’s a celebration of care, unity, and hope.
